I wanted to let you know about an upcoming Ministry Training Institute extension course being offered this spring through Samford University that may be of interest to you and leaders in your church.
Spring B – Baptist Doctrines
March 26 – May 14 • Thursdays at 6:00-9:00 PM
Guided by The Baptist Faith and Message, this course will explore key Baptist doctrines, their biblical foundations, and their relevance for the life of the church today. We will also discuss Baptist polity and some of the historical and current dynamics within the Southern Baptist Convention, helping participants better understand particular statements in our confession of faith.
The class will meet at the Madison Baptist Association (2318 Whitesburg Dr, Huntsville), and a Zoom option will be available for those who cannot attend in person.
I will be serving as the instructor for the course, and I believe it would be beneficial for pastors, lay leaders, and anyone interested in a deeper understanding of Baptist theology and practice.
The class is just $50 plus the cost of a book, and counts toward an MTI Diploma in Biblical Studies.
